I'm surprised handles are not included in the measurements (it just doesn't make sense)---hence I have to return this roaster just because it would not fit in my apartment size oven. For those interested, actual length is 19 1/2".

Excellent roasting pan with rack. Uniform baking. Fast, easy clean-up of the roaster pan and the roasting rack. Perfect size also for a large tray of lasagna. Terrific for roasts, chicken, turkey and any one pan oven dish. Excellent browning capabilities also. I love this item so much that I just purchased one for each of my 4 children to enjoy--they were thrilled to receive this as a gift because they like my cooking so much and feel that now that they have their own pan my recipes will taste the same when they prepare them in the same roaster. Great heavy duty quality will last a lifetime if properly taken care of. Worth the price.

I finally decided I needed a roasting pan to cook chicken, turkey, etc. and this pan was the perfect fit. It's not too big or too small. I really enjoy using it!
