Non-optional divided server

There are 2 things not stated in the description or the reviews. First, the serving dish is divided, and the divider is permanently fixed to the inside pan. You cannot remove it. You could feasibly use the "bath" pan (underneath) for serving, but this puts it directly over the fire instead of heating a layer of water to insulate the top food and keep it from burning. The second thing is that, while all the components appear to be of good quality, the divider doesn't. The top edge feels sort of sharp. Also, because the divider is attached to the bottom via crimping, it looks like one side could start leaking into the other after awhile. I did not use the pan, so can't speak to that. I simply sent it back (very easy to do with Amazon) and will look for another.

it is a good chafing dish for the value, it is not so shiny but acceptable look,go for it if you need something good for the budget

Very easy to use. Notice that the pan is divided so you can use it to serve 2 items or one item on both sides. Its easy to clean. The lid holder is an added feature to the dish. For the price I was happy with it.
